The application of smart glass is more and more extensive, people's understanding of smart switchable glass is getting deeper and deeper, and various factors affecting the visual effect of smart glass are also frequently mentioned. We often find that the same batch of glass, or glass of the same specification, is different in different application environments and different occasions, sometimes even very different. Is this a product problem? Absolutely not! So what factors are causing the difference in the effect of smart glass?
First, the location of the light
Light is one of the important factors that cause the difference in smart glass. By changing the position of the light, we found that the light is far away from the glass, visually feeling that the haze is small; the light is close to the glass, and the visually perceived haze is very large.
Second, observe the angle of the glass
The same piece of glass, the same visual point, the effect of the glass is different when it is at a different angle from the glass. When people look at the glass, the visual effect is best when the line of sight and the glass are perpendicular; when the angle between the line of sight and the glass is less than 45 degrees or greater than 135 degrees, the haze is getting bigger and bigger.
Third, the size of the space
When people look at the back objects through the glass, when the space behind the glass is large and the range is wide, the effect of switching the state of the smart glass switch is perfect; when the space behind the glass is small and the range is close, the dimming The difference in effect after switching the state of the glass switch does not change much, but it makes people feel that the haze is large.
The above three aspects are the three main factors affecting the visual effect of smart glass. I hope that designers will avoid these three factors when designing the use of smart glass to achieve perfect visual effects.
