PDLC Switchable Smart back Film is a liquid crystal film made by mixing polarized crystals and polymer mixtures. PDLC Switchable Smart back Film is formed by combining materials such as glass, PVB (polyvinyl butyral), a conductive layer, and the PDLC liquid crystal film through a high-temperature and high-pressure process, resulting in a dimming glass with special optical properties.
Its transparency and atomization are determined by the liquid crystal molecules inside the dimming film: when alternating current is applied, the liquid crystal molecules are arranged in an orderly manner, and the incident light can pass through directly, making the film transparent; when there is no power supply, the liquid crystal molecules are arranged in a disorderly manner, and the incident light passes through in a scattered way, making the film atomized and opaque.
